Wednesday

I just remembered that I forgot to blog about Wednesday! Forgive me for my terrible memory. So I went to my art camp, and y'know, I did awesome and fun stuff like I do everyday... so we went to the duck pond (which is near the HUB Robeson Center) and we wore our armor that we had made the day before out of cardboard. We took lots of pictures in our armor (that will be sent to the parents sooner or later). After the duck pond, we put our armor back in our classroom and we went to the creamery. I got death by chocolate, which is an ice cream flavor with lots of chocolate. It was delicious. After camp, grandma and I went to see a movie called Monsters University, and it was actually a pretty good movie. Then we went home (I didn't have time to do my blog because we got home late from the movie). That's pretty much the day of Wednesday.

Thursday

Again, I'm sorry for not doing my blog on Thursday, so I'll do it now, I guess. So, I went to camp (obviously), and we made awesome things (obviously) like, we drew a dragon, and then traced it over tin foil so it was indented in the tin foil. Then we colored the dragon with sharpie markers. It was really fun! If I tell you all the other things that I made, it wouldn't  be a surprise! So, after camp ended, grandma and I went home and I got changed (it was raining like you wouldn't even believe, so I got soaked) out of my wet, wet clothing and I read my book for a little bit. Grandma and I had made plans to go to the mall, so that's what we did. I got a pair of shoes called Keds, a shirt with a bunch of mustaches on it, and a black-and-white striped tank top. So, I guess that's about it on Thursday.

Aristotle-Wednesday 6-26-13

Today I went to another boring day at Camp Aristotle. Today we made bottle rockets.  Tomorrow we are going to launch them. Also today my friend Jake came over to my house after camp, and we jumped on my neighbors trampoline, and then we came inside had a snack and played Need For Speed ProStreet on my Wii, then Jake went home. My mom also got me some new shoes, because my old ones are getting worn out, and she also got me a new bathing suit, which unfortunately is too small for me. Now my mom and I are going to watch a show called Exit.

Ian Going to Camp Aristotle

I am going to a day camp at my school called Camp Aristotle. I really don't like the camp because my mom didn't check with me first to see if I wanted to go or not, and I really don't like summer camps because I think they are a complete waste of summer and summer camps are so boring, and the teachers are really annoying and mean, their names are Ms. Rebecca, Ms. Ali, and Ms. Gwen, but there is a really nice teacher who lets me play on her iPad when I need a break, her name is Ms .Applegate. The best part of camp is seeing a good friend that I had at school, his name is Jake, he is really funny and he is a Minecraft know it all. Also his younger brother Ryan is there, who is also really funny and he likes Minecraft also, but he loves Budder, which is a block from Minecraft. I also made some more friends who's names are: Will, Gabriel, and Daniel. Me and Ryan really like to do Snap Circuits together. The subject at the camp is Air and Space, which I am not really interested in. For snack we usually have Goldfish and Fruit Snacks. I look forward to going home every day after camp. When I get home I watch TV and/or play Need For Speed on the Wii, and I go outside and to play with two 3 year old twin boys who's names are: Finnegan and Rowan, and we like to drive around in their little battery powered Mini Coopers, and Finnegan likes it when I drive him around in his Mini Cooper.

Tuesday

Today I also had camp- and I also made like 5 friends. Their names are Tori, Summer, Alex (girl), Lily, and Emma. We all played together at lunchtime and we sort of acted out stuff like there was one girl telling a story and the other four girls would try to act it out. I think my favorite part of today was making masquerade masks out of plaster. We took (small) sheets of plaster and dipped them in water, and smoothed them out on a face mold. Almost everyone made half masks and a few people made whole face masks. It was actually pretty cool! I like this camp- it's really fun! After camp, I read my book and then we went to a restaurant called Baby's with my friend Mary. It was so cool because after we had dinner, we got an ice cream sundae called a Teeny-Weeny and the name described it! It was very teeny weeny and delicious. And that pretty much sums up my day so far.

BTW, my birthday is in three days!!!

Monday- Starting Camp

I am now typing about Monday- and I'm sorry I missed it yesterday. So, my mom set the alarm for about 7:15. I am not used to waking up this early, but we didn't know where my camp was quite yet. My camp was an art camp, and once we found where it was located, we signed in and they sent me to my camp instructor. My camp was called Medieval Masterpieces and I had two instructors- Jenna and Danielle.  Our first craft we did was a coat of arms (I'm pretty sure that's how you spell it). You first made a shield shape and divided it into six sections. In the first section you put your birthday and your age, in the second section you put your family, in the third section you put your favorite subject in school, in the fourth section you put your...(oops, I forgot- sorry!), in the fifth section you put your favorite animal, and in the sixth section you put your favorite song or band. We did so many fun things this day I can't even name all of them (also because I have a terrible memory. Yes, I know it was just yesterday.)! So anyways, after camp was over, my grandma and I went to Welsch Pool 8ith my friend named Mary. We stayed there until 8:00 pm, because that was when the pool closed. After the pool, Mary and I showered and put our pajamas on and we watched Grease. That pretty much sums up my day.

Starting Off- Pennsylvania

Today we started our trip off by going to my grandma's house in State College, Pennsylvania. We left around 11:30 (am) and arrived at about 2:30. It takes about three hours to get to State College. When we got to my grandma's house, we called my friend Mary, who lives across the street from my grandma, if she could come to the pool that was nearby. The pool was called Welsch Pool. I really like it because it has 2 fast water slides there- one green (faster one), and one blue (the slower one). It was very crowded while I was swimming, but then there was thunder and the pool was closed for 20 minutes. Then there was more thunder... and then we just got fed up with waiting and left the pool. After that, I showered and changed my clothes and we had dinner. We had salad, chicken, polenta, and sweet potato fries. It was all very delicious. And now, here I am, sitting in the computer room typing this "blog." Well... that's pretty much my day so far, so... hope you liked my first blog!
