Park city, Utah to Snowmass, Colorado

Man! I wish there was snow on these mountains!

We are so sick of camping. The temperature difference between day and night is 40 degrees at least. We're either roasting or freezing, with comfortable temps between 7-8 pm and 7-8 am.

Major meltdowns yesterday after the adrenalin rush of Park City: chair lifts, alpine slides, zip lines. Congrats to the kids for doing it all solo. I was holding the dog. To make ian calm down Evelyn and I went into TJMaxx. New dog harness: check!

On the way to Colorafo we stopped at Dinosaur National Monument. Pretty cool. I can't halp thinking  what might be under all the mountains they haven't excavated. The interagency pass is fantastic. We can go into the parks for a short visit and not feel like we need to get our money's worth out of it.

Lots of construction on the way here. We have a souvenir cracked windshield from a genuine Utah rock. Were doing Mad Libs like crazy. Had to buy another book. Kids have been great within screens in the car. Sleeping and listening to the radio. We all generally agree. On Sirius XM The Pulse.

Tomorrow noon checkout.
